ARC Check In: January ’21

So this is a new bookish post I’m hoping to do at the end of each month. I’ll just be checking in with the current state of my ARC pile. Top Ten Tuesday: New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2020

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

2020 was the year I properly got back into reading after several years of just dipping in and out and you can bet I discovered a lot of new authors! I read a lot of different genres so I could get a feel for what I enjoyed now as a 27-year-old, some books didn’t quite work for me anymore, but some I found I really loved now I was older! In particular romcoms never really appealed to me before, but now I have a whole bookshelf dedicated to them!

Because of how many authors I did read for the first time last year, I decided to make a list of the top ten I most enjoyed, whose books I’m looking forward to reading in the future as well! I’ve put in brackets what genre they come under because, I’m very much a mood reader and flit in and out of different genres all out the time!
