Ooof! My poor blog, you have been sorely neglected!
I have been in the worst book slump ever. I think after reading and absolutely adoring Natasha Pulley’s books I went into a bit of a book hangover that just got worse over time.
Prior to this week I’d not been able to finish any of the books I started and instead I’ve been spending all my time bingeing anime and manga. Thankfully my book slump seems to petering out *crosses fingers* and I’ve managed to finish a couple of the ARCs I’ve had piling up on Netgalley. I’m planning on posting a couple of reviews over the coming weeks but I thought the best thing to get me back into the swing of things would be to do a quick and simple tag!
So here is my first WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and brought back by Taking on a World of Words. The aim is to answer three simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
So without further ado, here we go!
Currrently Reading

I definitely requested this on NetGalley because of that cover. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so eye catching. I’ve actually gone out and bought a physical copy even before I started reading it because I needed it on my shelves that badly 😂 Luckily I’m about 10% in and really enjoying it so far, I’m hoping to finish it before the end of the week so I can review it soon! I think the original publishing date was back in March so I’m very late with this one!
Finished Reading

I have such a soft spot for amnesia stories and people rediscovering themselves so I thought I was going to enjoy this one. And I did like it to a point but there were so many eyebrow raising moments that drew me out of the book. There are a lot of things that happen that a very unrealistic and it just didn’t work for me in the end.
Reading Next

This is another ARC that came out in March so I’m desperate to get this read and reviewed before too much longer! I feel so guilty for being so late on these when the publishers so kindly granted me an advanced copy. This one isn’t so advanced now but I’m still excited to start it. It’s a gothic Cinderella retelling and the cover is another eye-catching one.
Have you read any of these? What did you think?
Very happy reading!
